This works well only if you have it in one place all situated and don't need to adjust it anymore. However if you are wanting to readjust it then this is not the right one for you.
The gooseneck is stiff and very difficult to bend and get just right. You can do it but you would not want to do it more than once or twice. Definitely not on a regular basis. It's more of an adjust it and forget it type of clamp in my opinion.
It's a bit hard to open and close the phone clamp also.
It also shakes if you use the touch screen unless you hold it with two hands.
It might be what you are looking for but it was not for me.
This is useful for a stationary set up.
