My phone is quite the brick, plus it has a heavy leather case, even the strongest magnet that came with my mount was not enough. So I got these heavy-duty plates, took the largest oblong in the pack, stuck it to the back of my case and it now mounts securely to the front-facing dashboard mount. I can now rotate the phone vertically or horizontally and it's guaranteed to stay put.
