This bulb is low heat and energy consumption. It's full spectrum LED 60 watt equivalent bulb. It's good for hydroponics and damp environments because it's rated for high humidity but that is not my situation. For me, it will be used for keeping my aloe vera alive through the cold season in a back room since I have nowhere to place them in the sun.
It's great for sprouting seeds and flowering but for me it will just be to give my aloe light. I will probably also use a blue plant light.
It should last through the whole winter. Aloe vera doesn't do well in temps below 40 and dies below 30 so it will do great with this bulb that has a 5000 hrs estimated lifespan.
It fit perfectly with the standard E26 base.
I've used these bulbs before through winter and my plants do much better than if I don't use them.
