We love to garden so we have our own fresh veggies in the summer. Since we are in Western PA there are years where planting straight outside can't be done till mid to late May so starting plants in doors helps us get a jump on things and this grow light is going to help things along. It is plenty big to cover many plants and it is bright enough as well. There are flexible wires to hang it and there is also a adjustable rope that can be used so the height can be moved up as the plants grow. The power cord has a on/off switch. Seems sturdy and well made. I know my plants will love the light.
