Keenstone Sous Vide Cooker

The first Keenstone Sous Vide Cooker I received, I was not impressed with, it was clearly used. Not only did it have wrapping paper still attached, the bags the units came in were torn, but you could also clearly see a burn mark on the unit, and the kicker was it didn't work. So I contacted the company through Amazon and WOW, they responded within a few hours, very quick service, offered an exchange and an apology. 

Once the new unit arrived, it was in much better condition... new condition! This was my first time using a sous vide unit and the first thing I wanted to try were egg bites like at the fancy coffee store. I did have to buy the silicone egg molds and they turned out perfect! Although I didn't realize how long foods take, the egg bites took an hour to cook. So keep that in mind when wanting to prepare food. I am not sure what to try next so if you have any ideas, please leave me a comment. 

The unit itself was quiet when in use. The control top is easy to adjust with just a power button, time selection, and +/- buttons. There is also a clip/clamp to attach the unit to the pot.
