Max is finally comfortable enough to come out of his cat cave and start playing. So, I thought this cat perch would be a nice treat for him. It would still give him the ability to hide a little, plus it would allow him to look out the window and see what's outside.
He's not too sure of if yet, but if I put him in there, he'll stay long enough to eat a treat. I've left one of the treats he tends to go bonkers for in there, and I've caught him sniffing at it. I'm sure once he gets used to the new thing, he'll be in there quite a bit. It did take him a while to get used to his cat cave.
It attaches to the window with large suction cups. (BTW, putting the suction cups on the window seat and securing them with the rods was difficult, but at least I know it's secure.) The bed holds up to 60 pounds, so I feel confident he'll be secure in it.
