I needed a leash with an integrated flashlight. This leash works well and the light is plenty bright enough for my purposes. I don't know how strong the leash is because I have a small dog that doesn't pull hard when we walk. The edges of the tape are starting to fray a little so not sure how long it will last but for now it's holding together just fine. The opening in the handle is a little small with my winter gloves on but I haven't lost hold of it yet.
