After getting a much cheaper replacement battery (again non-Dyson) that was pretty much useless from day one, this was a bit of a punt on another unbranded Animal V6 battery ... However all was well after a quick couple of minutes swapping the original battery over. Charging and use all as per the original Dyson, couple of replacement filters that fit fine. Although more expensive than other replacement batteries, would recommend this as a good saving on the replacement from Dyson.
Just note that no spare screws provided, so keep the original ones when swapping over.
