Excellent value

It is surprising how cheap you can get these kits for these days and I've had a job that I wanted to get round to that required a soldiering iron. Typical Prime delivery was rapid and up there with the best. There are a few handy tools that come in the storage case which keeps it all neat and tidy.

I only needed it for a repair on the car to replace the chock block connector used for a retrofit. I didn't like them and they didn't seem too reliable. The soldering iron is easy to use and the various connectors were useful as I was soldering pretty thin wires and didn't want a broad head. It worked fine to melt the insulation away and splice some wires together.

It also come with a bit of solder which saved me another purchase. I didn't need the wire strippers as I already have some but the supplied ones seem fine. All in all a handy bit of kit and great value for money.
