As far as my knowledge of this goes, I'm pretty sure this type of lipstick matches your PH in order to give your lip that "natural" reddish pink color. (Similar to the shade on the inside of your lip). The color gradually turns more pigmented and the picture I took was after about ten seconds or so? It's more pigmented in the end after about a minute. It also tints your skin so when I tried to remove it with my hand afterward, it barely smudged and stayed on. It's moisturizing, pigmented, and adjustable. Great for gradients, tints, and blush. The shipping was fast and cute packaging too. I would definitely recommend and buy again.
