Update after using the bags - they don't work.

I love bananas, but lately the bananas I am buying turn from green to overripe in just 2 days.  Not sure what happened or why the bananas are ripening so fast this year, but these bags are a lifesaver to stop the ripening process from happening way too fast.  I am thrilled to get these bags and excited to save money on the budget without having to toss produce that ripens too quickly.  When you live out of town in the boonies, and it costs you $9 every time you drive to town, I have to buy enough groceries to last. When the bananas ripen too fast, it's hard to buy enough to have for 2 weeks before the next town trip. Now with these bags, no worries!

Update: After trying the bags I can clearly state that even though I hoped they would work, they don't work.  Bananas ripened normally anyway, way too fast.  To be fair, I think the stores and producers have done something with chemicals that cause the bananas to ripen faster than they used to and no matter what you do or what bag you put them in, they get over-ripe from green in just a few days, nothing stops it. 

These bags made ZERO difference.
