I honestly have no use for cheesecloth right now, but you never know when you will need it for whatever reason. I have been in Boy Scouts for too long if I am "being prepared" for things I have yet to dream up! But I am. I wanted cheesecloth to put in the kitchen so I have it if ever I need it, so I honestly cannot tell you the quality of this, especially since I have never used it before and have no reference for comparison. But for those who know their cheesecloth.... This is 36 square feet of Grade 90 organic, unbleached muslin cotton. It is thin, so your liquids can easily pass through while the larger pieces are held back, and you have enough cloth to work with for awhile. Their Amazon listing says that their cloth has passed SGS certification, so you can use it with complete confidence with any food making. The weave is 44x36. It can be used for straining, for cheese making, nut milk, as well as for baking. And you can get creative with it and use it for wrapping gifts or for decorating for holidays (think ghosts or creepy cloths drapped over things...). There are many uses. While I may not use it for cooking purposes, I probably WILL end up crafting with it. I already know of a few great Halloween decorations I could make using this!
