Blood Pressure Monitor

I bought this because during lockdown I haven't been able to visit a doctor. Instead I was asked to send in my blood pressure readings.  Therefore this has been great for that purpose alone, but on reading up about monitors, it struck me just how important it is to regularly check your own blood pressure at home.

I must admit, I struggled at first. I contacted the seller and they quickly sent me a reply & reassured me about the proper use of their machine. The customer service was excellent and it turned out that I was using it wrong, but my husband did it correctly first time! The important thing to remember is to make sure the cuff is the right way round and the arm is at heart level. Then you will get the right results. Do not clench your fist - just relax. Then you simply press the start button & soothing music plays as the cuff starts to inflate. The monitor will then read out your blood pressure results and you can store them if you wish.

The machine is able to be used by 2 people and both can monitor, track and store the readings seperately on the one device.The monitor is lightweight too, so it's very easily transportable should you need to take it with you. It quickly takes the measurement and as far as I can tell is very accurate. It's a very handy device and when used regularly, could help spot any signs of a problem. It's a sound investment.
