I was originally looking for a gooseneck for my car when I came upon this. When I received it, first I was a little disappointed, I thought the phone holder was magnetic. I clipped this on my desk and it basically allows you to do other things while your phone is suspended. I can see this being useful when you need to do video calls or calls where you need your phone at eye level or various other reasons.
