I am one of those people that like to be prepared, whether it be for an overnight trip or the zombie apocalypse. I have small kits like this all over my house as well as in my car. When we go camping or hiking, I like to have one available as well. You never know when you might have an issue. This particular kit has a variety of items that could be very useful in an emergency situation. There is a poncho, an emergency blanket, and a ton of items to aid in caring for different traumas, from bug bite relief pads to a small CPR kit, and many things in between. The kit is lightweight and has a strap so that it is easy to carry. It's soft and small enough to pack in a bag, or the strap could be used in conjunction with a clip to attach it to the outside of a bag. The pouch is water resistant, but is not waterproof, so some care would need to be taken to ensure that it did not get too wet. The bag is red and easily recognizable as a first aid kit as it has the large white cross on it, so even if a person can't read, they would recognize what it is with little description required.
