I bought this as an early Christmas present for myself and I have to say I am over the moon with it. I bought it based on its aesthetics. The bamboo accent is superbly finished as is the cloth coating all the way round to the back. The controls are pretty generic in use i.e. long press on + & - is volume and short press is track skip. Being able to take calls is common place on such devices now and that works flawlessly as I expected. They supply a bag to carry it in which is nice but it is fairly weighty due to those huge drivers that have a huge kick ass bass. The bass is so big that the vibration is immediately felt through my desk. If you like heavy bass and high volume you will get some distortion in sound so I found around ¾ volume from my iPhone to be around the loudest for bass heavy music, I feel this speaker suits best for easy listening around ½ volume maximum and it gives great rich sounds at that and the bass is still very apparent even at lower volumes, it just becomes more subtle.The quoted 10 hours is pretty much on the nail for around ½ volume listening which as I said is perfect for a day out.It really does look at home absolutely anywhere in the house too, clean and modern looking all the way. I would have no hesitation in recommending this speaker as a gift or just for the pure guilty pleasure of owning it yourself.
