not as defined as photo

I purchased this ring because, based on the photo in the description, I thought that it was cute. It took about 3 weeks to arrive and came in a plastic envelope without padding or protection. The ring has an inscription on the inside which says “I will always be with you” with a large and small owl detail on the front of the ring. The ring is gold and silver colored single band with inlaid “gemstones”.

The ring looks somewhat similar to the photo but not as defined. I had a hard time distinguishing details on the owls and the smaller owl’s face looks almost non-existent. I ordered this ring for my 8 year old daughter. I was not expecting a lot based on the price and where it was manufactured. I just wanted a little bling for her to wear and it would not be a big deal if she lost it or it got damaged. She likes it so it was worth the $2.15 that I paid for it. Currently, it is listed for $2.99 + tax on Amazon so it is a decent deal for costume jewelry.
