This is not too big, not too small and comes with just about any option for slicing and dicing you might like. You can shred, make waffle chips, slice etc. It seems fairly well made, and has a handy strainer in it too-- if you care to soak your potatoes before making french fries or simply to wash things off. The blades are SHARP. I nicked my thumb on one just checking them all out! It's a bit shorter than I expected, but it makes it easier to store. While it has a 1-2mm slicing blade there is no adustable slicing blade, which would be my only wish for this handy gadget.
