I have been doing diamond painting now for about a year and keep a handful of projects on hand at all times to work on between reviews, business posts, and life (which will soon include homeschooling again in the pandemic). It is my mindless work that allows me to unwind while doing something crafty and enjoyable. I usually work on one while sitting at my desk and binge watching shows on my computer. I tried a variety of ways to store the diamonds for each project and absolutely hated using little baggies that are always included with each project. I prefer using storage boxes like these. I do a complete color at once, unlike in the beginning when I would do a section at a time. But invariably I end up missing a few spots here or there and have to go back to the color I completed to fill them in, so need to easily and quickly identify which one is which. I put each color in a square in the storage containers after finishing it and use an Expo marker on the lid to identify what the number/letter/shape it is. The expo marker wipes free and leaves no trace behind when done, and helps me quickly find the color I need. I rarely keep them all in the larger storage case, instead keeping my extra unused rows of mini boxes in a basket on my desk that I can easily grab when I fill the previous one. I have used storage containers like this for months, but the ones I had are not staying closed like they should. These are much stronger and sturdier and stay firmly closed with no problems, even if knocked over or dropped off my desk. I am very pleased with this set. It is a must for anyone who does diamond painting.
