This is my 1st rechargeable remote control car. I appreciate not needing 15 batteries to get going.
My 1st impression by the way the box looked was that this was going to be a cheaply made car. But the car itself feels pretty sturdy. It lights up,plays music and can do 360 degree turns which is GREAT because the car won't get stuck flipped over. The car moves pretty well too.
The remote however looks and feels cheap. It makes the car go forward,backwards and complete the 360 flips.
This care kept my 9 year old entertained for hours. She had it outside and all the other kids were impressed. My HUGE gripe is that the music of the car( playing Beverly Hills Cop Intro) doesn't turn off or even lower! The music gets real old real fast. That coupled with the cheapish remote is why I can only rate this item 4 of 5 stars.
