Clamp is too tight

I got this lens as I often forget to take my camera out when I am on a walk or go to the beach and want to take a far away picture. The lens is small and can be carried easily but 2 things that made me rate it low was the clamp and the quality of the product. 

The clamp was too tight and it felt like that it will crush my phone's screen if I left it for a long time. Also, I had a hard time aligning the lens with my phone's camera but when I finally did it, I was not impressed by the photo quality either. Overall not a very satisfactory product. I had given it to my daughter to play with it.
