Attractive Looking Pink Himalayan Crystal Rock Salt Lamp With Possible Health Benefits

This lamp was bought for a relative who has asthma and suffers from migraines after an acquaintance told me that since he had been using a Himalayan salt inhaler and had a Himalayan salt crystal lamp in his room his symptoms had greatly eased. Well I can't say if it was these Himalayan salt items that did this or a placebo effect but I thought that this lamp from Magic Salt was cheap enough to buy in the hope that it might help with my relatives symptoms. These Himalayan salt crystal lamps are supposed to dehumidify and purify the air and give off beneficial negative ions to counteract the "unfriendly" positive ions.

The lamp arrived in a plain box and has some heat shrunk plastic wrapping around the salt crystal for protection, the crystal is mounted onto a wooden base which houses the light fitting/bulb holder which is held into a hollowed out hole in the base in the crystal by a spring clip. I was happy to see that the bulb came and was installed in the lamp when it arrived, There us a separate  light switch fitted in the power cable for convenient use and a 3 pin UK mains plug at the end of the power cable. 

The Himalayan crystal salt lamp seems to be well made and fit for purpose I can't comment on the claimed health benefits of the lamp but do hope it will help my relative. The lamp itself looks somewhat interesting and provides a restful warm mood light for relaxation.
