The desk mat came in good condition and was happy to use it on my 14 inches old Vaio laptop and still provides extra space to maneuver the external wireless mouse on the side. However, upon checking the package I have noticed the holder strap when you roll and keep the mat when not in use was missing a lock button which made it useless. But this is not a big issue for me. The quality though for an artificial leather material was good but needs some stretching when you unroll it.
