I have tried the rounder brushes and they are just far to big and hard for me to use. The shape of this one makes it much easier to use and takes a hold of my hair really well. I was able to use it at a 350 temp and it does a great job. After just a couple of passes my hair becomes straight. I found it easy to set the temperature and I did not accidentally change the temperature. It took just a couple of minutes to come up to temperature. This is now my favorite hair straightener. It has a long enough cord, comes with a glove and a pouch to keep it all in. Oh and the color purple is a bonus.
