Needed a new doorbell as our old one was battery operated and needed six AA battery to work! A real pain when it came to replacing. Plus the front door bell keep falling off. After much research, I decided to give this one a go. I love the simple but modern style and easy installation. The fact that the receiver only needed to be plugged in means no more batteries and wall mounting to do. The only battery that will need replacing, is the one in the door bell itself which I don't anticipate dying soon.
There are several chimes to choose from, from your standard door bell to classical music, nursery rhymes, Christmas tunes and even the happy birthday song, which I just used to celebrate my husband's birthday when he came home from work. Love the variety to suit any occasion. Can't wait for Christmas!
The chime is loud enough to heard even from my bedroom on the second floor of our town house (on The loudest setting). The volume can be adjusted if required. All in all, really happy with my purchase.
