At first I was very excited when ordered... leather shoes for 20 bucks and I thought if I don't like 'em I can use them for slippers. When I got them, I saw right away they would not do for outside use. There really is not a significant amount of sole (thin) to the shoe for outdoor wear since all you basically have are cleat soles. A small amount of cleat comes out of the leather. The penny loafer is in look... it's just a band sewn in for decoration and mine were crooked on one shoe that even when you wear it the band bowed outward. So I reserved myself to they'd be slippers for indoor. Upon wearing them the first few minutes; Very comfortable since the squishy insole was great. It felt comfy on my heals. Wearing them for about a half hour was a different story. They felt lumpy to walk in, I could feel every cleat as I walked. Now I just asked for a return; I struggled with keeping them but realized I wouldn't be able to wear them as slippers. I will keep looking...
