Flimsy feeling, but works

I have looked at rings online in the past but always guessed at what my ring size was. I honestly had no clue. I decided if I want to wear any rings, I need to know what size ring to buy since I prefer to do my shopping online. I ordered this ring sizer and have it in my jewelry box with the baubles I wear. I was a bit surprised to see that the rings themselves on this are more plastic like, not metal, though the description says it is metal. It feels thin and lightweight, so I think it may be more of a metal coating over the original material. The Amazon listing description says it is zinc alloy, but I don't know my metals very well and can't say whether it is or not because I simply don't know. But regardless, it works exactly as intended. It doesn't need to hold up while you are working or living life, just needs to give you the size so you know what to get when shopping. It gives sizes from 1 to 13, including half sizes. The ring sizes are on the ends of each of the rings up near the middle hoop that holds them all together. The half sizes are marked with a line next to the number. I looked through the whole thing and didn't see any rings that were exactly the same size or any that were missing. I had my husband and my kids all size their fingers and we compared hands and laughed at the size differences between us. I now have a clear size for my fingers (my right hand being slightly different than my left, about a half size different when I sized my fingers) and can make purchases online for rings I can't try on.
