The dogs can't get enough of these!

We have two dogs, an English Mastiff and an Aussie Shepherd/Pit cross. Both are major treat mongers, loving their doggie treats. I used to sell pet products, so try to find treats that are good for them and won’t make my mastiff gassy, which is not hard to do. Being a giant breed dog, we have tried to provide her with supplements to help her joints to prevent any problems later with arthritis and hip dysplasia. But she is finicky when it comes to treats designed to help with mobility. We have tried a few different kinds, and she is good for the first few treats but then spits them out and refuses to eat them.

Not the case with these! She eagerly took them and sat patiently waiting for the next! We have been doing the treats daily with her for the past few days and she has yet to refuse a single one, looking for more and disappointed when I don’t give her anything extra. My shepherd cross sees me pick up the container and he begins jumping and spinning in circles in anticipation. He is a chow hound, having never turned his nose up to treats before, but these get him even more excited. I have never seen my dogs SO eager to take treats.

As to whether they are making any difference, I can’t say since it has only been a few days and the problems we are trying to prevent can take years to surface. We are doing them for preventative reasons, and both are relatively young and have no signs of problems. So I can’t weigh in on the effect they may have on a dog who already suffers from joint issues or mobility problems. But I can definitely say how much my dogs like them!

The treats are a decent size, so may be too big for smaller dogs. But since I have a large breed and a giant breed, I NEED a larger treat. They are not really soft treats, but can't be classified as crunchy either, but are more like pills when you look at them and crumble when my dogs chew them up.  They break apart easily, so if you do feel the treat is too large, you can break them up without any trouble.

I am very pleased with these treats so far and plan to continue using them with my two as long as I can. I definitely recommend these to pet parents who are concerned with mobility of their dogs, especially if you have giant breed dogs who are prone to these issues.
