I got this to have in case of emergency, to take while we're hiking or camping, and to have outdoors in the summertime for any dirty messes that we don't want to bring into the house.
I selected it in Army Green because I wanted it to blend in with the foliage and trees as well as be a dark color so it would heat up quicker. It was the darkest color they offered in this style.
Keep in mind that 20L of water weighs 20kilos (44#s) so it will be heavy once filled. Find a secure place to hang it that will support that weight. You may need assistance hanging since they suggest it be filled and left laying flat in the sunlight to heat up.
It has a built-in thermometer on the outside. Instructions says it can get as hot as 43C (109F), so please check the temperature before using it so you don't get burned. It's winter here right now and just above freezing outside, so we didn't actually check it filled for all of the above, but I did fill it with some water to check or leaks and make sure the product was in good condition.
It comes in a mesh carrying case. The only instructions are what are printed on the back of the unit. There is nothing that tells me what the two velcro straps at the bottom of the unit are for. I'm thinking I can use them to hang a toothbrush to dry or perhaps even to direct the shower spout where I want. There is a built-in pouch on the unit to hold some small items such as a mini tube of toothpaste, your glasses, jewelry, etc.
I could find no on-off button or toggle. I suspect, once completely filled, that you may be able to control the water flow by opening the fill hole. All the way opened the water will flow very quickly; closed it should be slower. This lack of a water shut-off option is probably why they suggestion you heat it up with it laying on its side.
All in all, it will fulfill my needs. I do wish they sold this option in black, though, for the quickest heat-up mode.
