7" SOLAR WATER FOUNTAIN WITH BATTERY BACK UP

~ What ~
Made of plastic and metal, this 7” round flat disc that is solar powered is a water fountain that can spray up to 39 inches tall. The 1.5 watt motor can be charged by the sun a minimum of 2 hours to run. It comes with a 1 hour battery back-up, suction cup feet, and 4 different types of nozzle heads. Instructions are included, and little assembly is required.

~ Why ~
What I like most about this compact water fountain is that it is solar-powered, so I do not have to think about turning it on and off daily or running any electrical wires. Another top feature that is the many different nozzle and height combinations. It was easy to assemble by removing a protective film, putting it in direct sunlight in water, and adding the desired nozzle.

~ Why Not ~
Those who live in the Pacific Northwest or where there is limited sun may not think this will fountain will run long enough during the short sunny days. Some may not like the flat black disc look of the unit. However, it appears to be quite durable and is waterproof.

~ Wish ~
I wish the nozzles included a low profile one as all shoot water up too high in the pond or bird bath (see photos). However, if no nozzle is used, it does make a decent bubbler.

~ Want ~
If you are looking for a wireless water fountain to put in a bird bath or pond, this solar-powered one would make a nice garden gift for a special person.
