Not comfortable using it - odd sound

 I am constantly having to replace the cables near my computer, in my car, in my bedroom, or for the kids. After having replaced my cables recently with a 2 pack that I felt were not performing as expected, my phone continued to tell me there were charging problems, as I was still getting a "slow charge" notice. I prefer buying in three packs like this rather than one at a time since I feel I get better value for my money. I love the colors in this set and the braided cable since the plastic and rubber coated ones crack so bad. But just like the last set, I am not pleased at all. Every time I unplug them from my phone I again heard that odd crackling sound. I know it is not something in my phone that is causing the problem. They did seem to be working for me when I plugged my phone in with one on my computer and with another in my car, but both had the same sound when unplugging so i have since retired them to the cable box and have replaced them with others. I honestly do not know if they are good to transfer data from phone to computer or not since I did not try that. I only used these for charging purposes. I don't know whether it was a bad set of cables, if there really was a problem, or what exactly was going on, but I don't trust it and don't know whether to say check them out for yourself or not.
