We have a deep well and very hard water so we have to replace our fixtures regularly. I had a filtered shower head before and it made a big difference in my skin and hair so I knew I wanted a fixture with a filter. This one does not come with a hose for hooking it up so make sure that you either already have one that will work with this or purchase a hose separately. I wasn’t thrilled that the threading which attaches to the hose was made from plastic as I was expecting it to be metal. It came with a filter already installed, 2 replacement filters, washers and Teflon thread tape. I like that the filters can be washed and reused repeatedly to help save me money. It was simple to install and we didn’t experience any leaks so far. I liked the three different settings especially the rainfall setting.
