I bought this plug because I've got an Amazon Echo Dot that I haven't used properly. This was my first step to making my home more 'smart'. You just plug it in, download the app to my phone, enter my network settings, initiate the plug by holding down a button, and it's all ready to work with the app. Then I had to go to my Alexa app and add the skill related to the plug's brand, login and now it's connected to my smart plug.
The only negative I'd say is the super-bright LED on the front of it which lights up my bedroom at night. A bit of duct tape on that should fix it - other than that it's a great device at a great price.
