I got this for an unorthodox reason. My son just had his first child and we though this would be a unique gift. The lights just mesmerize our granddaughter and it has a calming effect for the little bundle of joy. Then as she grows she will have the nightlight feature and then her room can turn to a cool disco feature for her as she enter tweenie and teenage year. Just a fun little gift.
