Very Simple to Use, Excellent Quality

All of the controls are in easy reach. Setup gives you many options to configure video and picture quality, along with just the basic behavior of the camera overall. The screen flips open and the display is large and wide, very easy to get a good view going. The colors on the screen do look a little washed out, but . It'when you playback the video, the colors are more accurate. As I was going from room to room, I specifically chose rooms with different lighting. When I walked into a room that appeared dim, but had a large window, it compensated to brighten up the view. Then if I quickly moved it over to the window, it would take just a few seconds to acclimate to the brightness. But, it did, and gave me a very bright, clear view of the trees outside. That was the only thing I didn't completely love, was the delay in the transition, it just seemed a little slow. 

The light on the front is activated with the power switch, but it will only come on when needed. I tried turning it on just to see what it did to a bright room, and it would not come on. Very easy to switch between photo, video, and review. It's very small, very lightweight, extremely easy to hold. Seems to do very well at capturing action shots. It doesn't seem that long ago I paid hundreds of dollars for this type of device, and I didn't get the quality or options available with this. The battery does not drain quickly, it comes with cables for charging and for connecting easily to your tv, and the small canvas bag makes it simple to carry and protect. This is an excellent purchase.
