Kenting Magnetic K4M Portable LED Light Box

I believe light boxes are used by professional  artists and graphic designers for their projects as it can be used for tracing accurately from other pictures or artwork onto another piece of paper for a variety of other projects such as stencilling, design work,transferring images on tattoo paper etc.

I was recommended to get one of these by friend for a problem I was having with one of my projects. I was digitising and archiving family photos but there were a lot of old medium format ( 70mm) negatives which needed to be turned into positive digital images. Unfortunately my scanner can't handle negatives. My friend told me that he had managed to get a good image from a negative by placing it onto a light box, taking a photo of the negative then reversing the image. So with in mind I decided to get a light box and this one from Kenting seemed to be a good choice for me so bought one.

The light box measures 36 x 27 x 0.5cms with the screen measuring 31 x 21cms which is ideal for A4 paper and weighs  0.6kg. which makes it quite portable if needed to be. The box is simple to use, just plug it into a 5 volt USB port on a power bank or use a phone charger with a micro USB connection to power it. The box has adjustable light intensity from 5% - 100% which has proved useful for me when using it for the purpose I bought it. The magnetic paper holders will be useful for people wanting to use the box for tracing. I'm happy with this light box as it has done the job I bought it to do.
