The magnets are surprisingly strong and can be used in many different ways. These are a great buy highly recommend. I attached one to dishwasher for somewhere to hold my tea towel. I have a magnetic board so I use them yo attach different paper work items. I have used in the bath room so hold various items. These are great have used to many I want to buy more.
