When this item arrived I read on the front and the back of the box that recipes are included, they weren't. The burger press is easy to use once you figure out how to adjust from quarter to half pound. I worked it out after trial and error, the red lid can be squeezed and twisted to adjust. It would have been nice to have some instructions included or a diagram on the box. Aside from that it should work fine and be easy to clean.
