Very, very happy with this - its a excellent thickness so not bulky but at the same time allows you to cut with a scalpel and not cut straight through the mat! Its a smaller size than other mats I've seen for sale which made it perfect for me as I only work on small sized items and delicate work, but this is tough enough to cope with fabric, metal and paper cutting.
