Cute nightgown

I have been needing a new nightgown for some time and have been wanting to pick one up, but as usual, being a mom who focuses on everyone else's needs, I haven't taken the time to buy things for me. Until now. I fell in love with the style and print and knew it was time to get something for me.   This nightgown is made of cotton, though the listing says cotton blends but doesn't say what it is blended with. It is not supposed to stretch out or become misshapen because of this. I haven't slept in it yet, so can't say whether it is going to be something that stretches out or not. It goes in to the washing machine today so I will find out how well it handles the washer and whether it goes through shape changes or not.   It has a round neck that is a bit wider than most nightgowns I am used to, but won't restrict movement or constrict your neck, allowing for comfortable sleep. The sleeves are short, too, and the entire gown is loose fitting and roomy. It allows you to move about without feeling it is tight or restricting in any way.   I was a little disappointed with the thickness of the material, though. I was thinking it would be thicker than it is. It was fairly thin, so I question how long it will last before it begins to show wear and develops holes. I hope that the material is strong enough to hold up for some amount of time.   I did feel it was a bit stiff when I took it out of the package and the smell of the manufacturing was very unpleasant. There was no way I was going to be able to wear it without washing it first, which is okay since I usually wash everything before wearing it anyway. But this definitely made me turn my nose up at it and want to wash it immediately.   But overall I think it is going to be a comfy nightie to sleep in. It is thick enough that you cannot see anything through it. It is long enough that it covers everything and you don't have to worry about your rear end showing if you bend over.
