Nice and sturdy, but hard to set up

I picked up this chair upon request from a friend, so wasn't planning to use it for myself. And honestly, with the trouble I had in setting it up, I wasn't sure I wanted to. But my oldest decided he liked it, stealing it at one of our Cub Scout meetings and using it all night as we ran outdoor activities.   I was very impressed at the compact size of this chair when collapsed. It is not something overly large and bulky, but rather is something that can easily be strapped on the bottom of a pack or tossed in the back of the car for use when out and about. It is fairly simple to assemble. The chair structure itself unfolds and snaps together without any direction needed. The different pieces are all connected, so you simply unfold it and put each piece in to the connecting one to make it one solid piece. You then stretch the strong fabric and mesh backing/seat over the edges, inserting them in to the pockets.   The problem I had was not in assembling the structure, but getting the chair piece to stretch and attach to the structure. No matter how I tried to do it, I could NOT get it stretched and attached. I actually gave up, never fully assembling it myself or getting final pictures of it fully assembled.   But I did take it to my friend that evening at our Cub Scout meeting and she worked with it a few minutes before she was able to get it to work. It took some major stretching and some work, but it finally came together. From then on, my son used it. Every time we turned around he had the chair again. He said it was quite comfortable, which we assumed was the case based on him using it nonstop.   I was definitely impressed with the compact size though. I had no trouble taking it apart and fitting it all back in the bag that it comes with for easy carry and storage. I have had far too many chairs NOT fit back in their bags after you remove them, so was thrilled that wasn't the case with this one. It easily came apart and the structure rolled back up nicely inside the outer chair, which all then fit directly in to the bag with some room to spare. And my friend found it was just as easy for her to disassemble it after my son used it all night and bag up to toss in her car.   While it is a great chair, it is not the easiest to set up the first few times and takes some work. But once set up, it does work well and is comfy. My friend and son both love it, though I wouldn't want to go through the process each time. I don't know if it will get easier to set up later, now that it has been stretched to fit better.
