When we had cats in the past, I was constantly having to wash the doors and wall edgings where they would rub against them. And of course they loved being groomed, so when I saw this set of cat corner wall attachment brushes, I thought it would be perfect for our little spoiled tortoiseshell tabby. She is a tiny cat and still likes to run and play more than sit and be groomed, so brushing her long hair is near impossible. I am hoping this will help us to keep her groomed while allowing her to rub on things as she likes, without having to force her to sit still long enough for me to do anything. It comes with two corner pieces that fit around the edges of your wall. There was some 3m type of tape to attach them with, but also some screws. I hate having to use screws on the walls and then later having to go back and patch holes, but the tape is not strong enough to hold it on with the constant pressure of a cat rubbing on it as they walk by. The challenge we now have in our home is where to attach them. We used just the tape to stick them and the baby pulled them off. So we found another corner piece and the dogs knocked it off. We just don't have corners for her to really rub against where we can attach it flush against the wall. It doesn't fit over the door framing and our other options are not working. We are thinking maybe trying it on some furniture, but again have the issue of the screws in furniture which we will NOT be doing.... so we are not having much luck with this. It is a great idea, but not working out in our home.
