impressive ring light at a budget price

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this ring light. I wasn't expecting much from a 6 inch ring light priced at less than $30 but this one was really worth every penny. I think it works better than my friend's much higher priced one. It has 3 different colors of lighting and 5 levels of brightness to help find the perfect lighting for photos, videos or putting on makeup.
It uses a USB cable to power it. The smartest feature is that this ring light has an extra USB port on the side of the control switch so I am able to power a second ring light or charge my phone while using it to record and I only need to have access to one USB port. I like that this tripod stand is metal so it is more sturdier and durable than plastic stands. The stand extends from 16 inches up to 46 inches tall which lets me adjust it to the perfect height whether I am using it on the floor or on a tabletop. The tripod head uses a stainless steel ball type mount and it will rotate 360 degrees to get the perfect angle. I can tighten the thumb screw to hold the light securely in place without worrying about it moving from where I want it.

The light includes a cell phone holder that clams onto the stand to hold the phone steady and let me be hands-free while I am making videos. The phone holder can also be removed and used to hold my phone on a bike, stroller, etc. I could also remove the light and use the tripod as a standard tripod for cameras, laser levels or any other items that are capable of being mounted on a tripod.

The only issue I have with this light is that it only has a power button and an up and down adjustment. I have to hold the button to cycle through the colors and them click it to increase or decrease the brightness. I would have preferred to have an extra button to be able to pick the color and then use the up or down buttons to control the brightness. That's not a big issue and it certainly would not deter me from recommending this awesome ring light.
