I read all the reviews and all the complaints and decided to really try this product and give it an honest and fair review.
The first complaint some had was it doesn't rest properly in the charging cradle causing it to fail to charge.
I had no issue with this at all.
I put my cradle on a flat surface and simply placed the gun on it and it charged, no issues at all.
Second, someone mentioned the trigger failing to feed the sticks.
On first use yes, you need to push two sticks in one behind the other if you are using short sticks.
The entire first one will go into the body of the gun when pushed with a second stick, then and only then does the trigger do what it's supposed to do so, that being said, if that seems like too much work for you, buy the longer sticks.
Third and most common complaint. The gun constantly leaks glue from the tip.
Yes, it does. I wouldn't suggest using this gun if your craft project requires you to set it to the side and there is time between gluing items.
I did find though that if you are rapidly gluing things in your project, this is a good gun for that.
Also, it heats up rather quickly so if you do need to take time between gluing, simply power the gun off. Within 60 seconds of powering it down, the dripping stops. Power it back up when you need it again.
I am super happy with this item because I am a MAJOR cord cutter. I hate cords.
Through trial and error, I found the best way to make this product work for me.
I give it 2 thumbs up!
