~ What ~
Measuring 4.9 by 4.8 by 4.7 inches, this decorative flower pot that looks like wood plays music via a Bluetooth collection or piano notes when touched plus has 7 changing light modes. Weighing 13.6 ounces, it comes with a lithium battery that can be charged in 4 hours using its added USB plug and play for 12 hours. It arrives with instructions in a gift box, ready for giving.
~ Why ~
I like the multi-functional purpose of this flower pot as I can add a plant and, whenever its leaves are touched, a piano key is sounded and a lighted color appears. It can also be hooked up to Bluetooth to listen to music. Whatever plant is planted in the pot, its leaves will shake and quiver along with the music. Its lighting changes to the tune. I like that it is waterproof with a drain hole for a live plant.
~ Why Not ~
If you do not have a green thumb or like live potted plants, this product will not be appreciated. Those who do not have Bluetooth access to music may not be interested in it. I found the adapter cord was too short so had to use my own when charging, and it was hard to press the cable into the unit without a plant in it – which makes me wonder how to plug it in when there is a plant.
~ Wish ~
I wish the USB plug-in were easier to use as it is in an awkward position. Turning the Bluetooth part on is tricky but can be done if you read the instructions carefully. I wish it came in a darker wood color to match my décor.
~ Want ~
If you are looking for a way to “green” up your inside environment plus play music by touching a plant, this is a fun gadget that makes a unique gift for those who have everything.
