Designed for children, this set contains 3 do-it-yourself small birdhouses to paint. There is one large birdhouse that measures 4.7 by 3.7 by 3.5 inches and two measuring 3.75 by 2 by 1.5 inches. ~ Why ~
Our 4 and 6 year old granddaughters have gotten into feeding the birds, and now they can have small birdhouses to make, decorate, and hang from a tree outside. I like that all the parts are pre-cut and no tools are needed to assemble them. There are plenty of choices of paint colors and it is nice the glitter powder is added.

~ Why Not ~
Those who do not like doing art projects will shy away from this one as it may be too complicated for small hands or those who do not like to paint. Some may be surprised how small 2 of the houses are, but they are cute.

I wish the kits were a little bigger in size.
