I bought this as I have a very reactive and large Cane x Mastiff who hates other dogs meaning he never has free reign to have a good sniff about, even the sniff of another dog and he's ready for a scrap. He is trained, well, as well as he is going to be and listens unless there are other dogs around so the leash isn't really for that.
I now take him on a short leash until we are out of the way (up the mountains) and then put him on this leash so at least he has a bit more freedom. He loves it!!
The leash is strong and durable and doesn't feel like it's going to break in your hands.
Yes the leash becomes twisted but with a 50ft length, that's expected, doesn't help that he's an overgrown puppy in his head or that he thinks he's a lap dog lol. The handle is padded which makes it easier on my hands
I would definitely recommend this leash.
Ps, If your going to walk your dogs near any farm animal whether you think they are 100% trained or not, please always use a leash especially right now during lambing season:) Mamma sheep already have their trotters full..
