Pretty Pearl Bud Design

This Jewelry set from Luyuan Jewelry has a shell-like shape and a pearl and black stones design which are set into the shell. The packaging for the product came undamaged and the jewelry set came in a cream-colored box with a cream colored fabric bow, which was a nice touch as it would be easy to wrap or use as a gift as it. The ring was loose in the cream colored box, but the other pieces were nested into black foam and none of the pieces were damaged.

This set comes with a ring, a necklace, and a pair of earrings. The necklace pendant was noticeably larger than the pendant for the earrings and the ring, which was a good decision on the part of the designers as it makes them much less heavy while still being the same design as the necklace in the set. The necklace chain is definitely shorter than I prefer my necklace chains; I am likely to add a chain extension as I prefer my necklaces to sit a bit lower. The pendant comes off the chain easily enough if you prefer to replace the chain with a different type.

This piece is really very lovely, although it is difficult to describe without the pictures. I like the black and white color scheme created with the pearls, as it can pair well with many different types of dress or formal wear. The ring is definitely on the large size for my personal taste, it is a bit big for use on your ring finger or a smaller finger, but it is still a beautiful piece that could suit many people’s taste in jewelry. The pieces are generally large and formal in design; this is not a set for everyday use but it makes a lovely accompaniment for a formal outfit. The listing suggests it is a Christmas Party piece, which makes little sense to me, but I could see using it for a beach wedding or another formal event. Each of the pieces match well and the design is consistent across all three of the pieces of the set. For only $12.99 on Amazon, this set is definitely worth the investment if you have the right dress to pair it with.

As for cons, the pieces are a bit large and the stones are obviously fake, but it really does not detract from the beauty of this set. I think it would pair nicely with dresses of almost any color and even some suits, depending on the event. The pieces are sturdy and look like they will last a long time provided that you store them properly between uses. I would give this set a 4 out of 5 stars and suggest that it is definitely worth the price you pay for it.

It did come with a note from the seller thanking me for the purchase and asking for reviews. I appreciate the thanks, but I will admit it bugs me on some level when people ask for reviews in the package. If this was a gift and I wrapped it right away, then the request for reviews would have been included in the box and that would bother me.
