I love the large glow in the dark numbers on this clock, it helps me to see better anytime of the day or night. I also love the beautiful cactus design that shows at night. The hands also glow in the dark. The clock uses 1 AA battery which is not included. I wanted a clock I could see in the dark, when I get up at night. This one works pretty good. Make sure you place the clock in a well lit place to get the effects of the glow in the dark at night. The clock comes with a hook that you can hang the clock on.
