Great KNIFE - I would have given this a 4.5 for the extra blade holder alone... but the knife is well worth the 5 stars.

GREAT KNIFE!!

This is a solid, well-built knife—super sharp blades as well as a good stock of them. The security of the opening and closing lets me know that no one will have an accident digging in the toolbox looking for it. It is as easy as pushing a button to open and close. Once opened, there is no wiggle or accidental closing of the knife. They could not have made changing the blades on this knife any easier. Just push the button and pull the blade. The blade storage compartment on the knife holds three blades securely, so there is no chance of not having a nice sharp blade on hand or losing them.

On the other hand, the storage case for the extra 10 blades is made of plastic and, for me at least, is not note-worthy. The first blade came out as it should, and then they started coming out two at a time and getting stuck. I figured out that the bottom snaps open, so getting the blades in and out is easier. It will keep the blades secure but will not be very functional after that. This is a great knife, and now that I know I can get it in pink, I will be buying another one for the craft room.
